Review: Singapore Airlines Business Class 777-300ER Singapore To Sydney

Singapore Airlines has since upgraded its entire Boeing 777-300ER fleet with the airline’s latest first class, business class and economy seats since revealing to the public on 9 July 2013. I was super excited to fly with Singapore Airlines again as the last time was a few years back.

Just to share some details of the New Business Class seats, the seats offer greater recline at 132 degrees and features an improved ergonomic seat cushion. The seat flips down into a 28-inch wide full-flat bed, at 78 inches in length. An 18-inch wide HD resolution LCD screen and noise-cancellation headphones provides countless hours of entertainment as you travel in comfort.

As soon as I stepped into the plane and saw the seat, I could tell that it would be an amazing flight. The seat shout luxurious travel and it felt like first class more than Business Class. *First Class has slightly bigger everything, but that's about it*

The only amenity kit given was the socks and eye mask, which didn't bother me as much. Instead, the basic amenities were in the lavatory which I used to brush my teeth and freshen up.

2 hours before reaching Sydney, it was time for breakfast. I pre-ordered the Lobster Thermidor through Book the Cook, as I heard that it is a must try dish on board. Unfortunately, expectation was way too high, the lobster was nice, but did not satisfy the wow factor. As for the satay, I believe that Malaysian Airlines makes better ones, as this lacked the umph satay feel.

I got myself two cute Singapore Airlines bears as souvenirs. 

The only negative thing with this flight was that it is an overnight flight and it was too short to fully enjoy the products and services. Nevertheless, I managed to squeeze in 4 hours of sleep and watched Cake (starring Jennifer Aniston) and a documentary on Monsieur Hubert de Givenchy.

 
Overall, Singapore Airlines products are still one of the best in the world, and despite the high price tag; if one can afford the ticket, it is definitely worth every penny.
