Liked I said many times before; I don’t prefer Melbourne or Malaysia. Both have different purposes so it’s unlikely I can compare. Being able to do my tertiary studies here would be an advantage compare to studying locally as the teaching standard is higher and tutors/lecturers actually care and give attention to students in the sense of listening and absorbing what the students have to comment on. Yet again, I am not trying to promote Australian University or looking down on those studying locally, what I’m saying is that coming to Melbourne has only one reason – education. All the freedom or buying car because it’s cheaper or clubbing/ gambling is nothing to me. As in, it may be a plus point for others but to me it’s not because I basically get it here and there. I don’t club, drink or smoke so why bother. I stay 5 minutes away from Melbourne University, so do you think I need a car? I may be different to other guys, because I would rather use some brain and won’t kill myself by drinking lots of shit, smoking loads of faeces, gambling away my allowance as I love to eat awesome food and spent money on branded goods, go on world tours, have a few huge houses around the world, loads of cars etc.

I’m currently in Carlton, Victoria, Australia and furthering my studies at The University of Melbourne. I am undertaking a single 4 years bachelor degree - Bachelor of Arts and Science.Development studies would be my art major and Zoology would be my science major. To understand what both my majors are about go to the following website http://www.unimelb.edu.au/HB/2007/areas/ADEVELP.html and http://www.unimelb.edu.au/HB/2007/areas/SZOOL.html. In terms of what I’m studying, I’m sure it’s important because the university would not provide a major where it is not beneficial to the world right? In terms of finding a job, it’s way too early to decide, I have until 2010 to make a decision. I like what I’m doing - the process of learning and gaining knowledge is way better compare to the mentally of earning big bucks. Being able to argue on certain points, challenging the real world is what university is all about. Anyway what I’m doing helped me see the world in different way, helped me question the unquestionable which is way more fun and exciting compare to those which only feeds you information.
