first things first..it was a FOOD trip too..the main aim of this trip is to eat and eat and eat..was suppose to like try all the authentic/traditional/local food..but then there were actually toooooooo many..and so first it was lunch and we ate hainanese chicken rice ball..it was alright..cause i'm no white chicken fan..but i ate 6 rice balls..lol...
these are the melaka's rice ball..nothing special..just using rice and turning it into a ball.. :)
next we walked along "jonker walk" and look see look see..nothing much there...
there was this shop which sells painting on clothes...so there were quite funny..like above..erm there were like malaysia boleh~ everything MUST can..or something like tat..it was an unique shop but i dun think it was practical to get one..anyway as we walked..i saw the biggest pineapple tart in malaysia
..this aint the original one i think..a remake of the real one to display i think...
this juice shop sells REAL squeeze juice..funny funny lor..it was opposite the art gallery shirt shop...after that we went to eat ice kacang and cendol with egg tart..it was funny to see portraits of two women as if they were model.. u know those cosmetics where they help u make up and take photos? yeah..there were like 4 near the counter.. swt gua gua lor...
it was bloody sunny i tell u..without "face umbrella" we just walked around until we decided to head for melaka's shopping mall because it was way too hot..hmmm disappointed..i feel sorry for those people there..there were two shopping malls..but it felt like one..and it's limited..it just higher class sungei wang..so off we went to find satay..YES...food again..i know..hmm why dun eat satay in kajang but melaka?because these satay uses pork..babi..tau tak? sedap la..and for the first time i see ketupat in their original form..not wrap with plastic..it's made with wove palm leaf ..COOL
as we were finding this satay place..it was raining like cats and dogs and therefore we didnt do much but decided to return home..as port dickson would be too dark..to see anything and was raining HEAVILY~ so basically it was eat all the way..had steamboat dinner at puchong..lolwell today was a day well spent..like i went another state..HAHA..anyway chit chat started since we got into the car until we got off the car..we even gave qian a "christian name" Lilian chiu is her new name..HEHEHE..oh we heard jay chou's latest song.."cowboy very busy" in the car for more than 6 times and once in the shopping malls so the whole night..it's stuck in my head..tsk tsk..anyway basically it was a fun day out..thanks everyone..thanks germ for driving us around..lol..hmm we shall go up north one day..it was enjoyable..and fun to hang out with u guys..huggies... it's late..so i think i missed out some stuff..or maybe i didnt :-p
