Today is the 18th commonwealth games in melb..Around 6.45 I went to QV to look for chew chen..Then we bought KFC for dinner..Since it was the games..trams were fully pack and we decided to walk to Yarra River..
First time in history that an opening of commonwealth games held at two places at the same time which were the Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG) and the yarra river..Because there were so many ppl around 80,000 along Yarra River
Anyway me and chew chen keep hearing MCG but then didn't really know wat they were saying..So we thought it was Melbourne Commonwealth Games..hehehe..So pai seh...
well there were 71 fishes built on the river just for the event..Actually most of the ppl there are just for the fireworks..And it was really AWESOME as aussie will say it..Those fireworks were blasting about our heads...Damn cool...But then they were some stupid ppl there also...One guy jumped into the river and swim around..So stupid action..Then there were one guy who actually kissed chew chen..Pity her..Need to wash lots with dettol..kekeke..
there were this moment where KUALA LUMPUR
were mentioned because Malaysia also once held commonwealth..Me and most of the Malaysian trinity student were shouting KUALA LUMPUR....hehehe...oh well i'm proud to be malaysian..when the malaysian athlete were walking out..again we scream and cheer..it was kinda fun because it was my first time doing such thing..oh well i got tired around 10..we were standing there from 7.30..and still the event havent finished..ended around 11 and everybody was rushing home..
me and cc was so thirsty that we walked as fast as possible to find drinks and i think we walked over 3 blocks or more to 7 eleven..becuase it's one of the place to get cold drinks and opens 24 hours..hehehe..
overall i'm glad i was there to see the fireworks..there were 9000 fireworks yesterday...hehehe hopefully closing ceremony i also can go...
p/s while uploading photos i realised i dun have fireworks pictures cause i video them..hehehe...
